Global Macro Hedge Fund Trading Systems Developer

Multi-billion AUM hedge fund is seeking a Systems Developer/Analyst who will be primarily responsible for implementing and supporting applications for a Global Macro Strategy; working directly with the Portfolio Manager and Analyst on a daily basis to build out new infrastructure.  The software environment will consist of a combination of custom-built systems and a variety of vendor applications.  The position will primarily interact with the PM and Analyst alongside the SFM Information Technology and Risk departments.  The candidate should be familiar with and have an interest in a broad range of financial instruments (Fixed Income, interest rate derivatives, currencies, commodities, equities, credit, etc.), bond and derivatives pricing, risk analytics, market data sources, P&L tracking, and trading operations.  A successful candidate will have proven experience building and working on sophisticated systems using programming and scripting languages in Microsoft Windows environments, as well as integrating similar third-party systems.

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for Global Budgeting and Forecasting and for Strategic Analysis.
